I is for Inventive

At the end of quiet time today, I knew Rose must have fallen asleep, because she was actually...quiet. I went into the living room, and I couldn't find her! Finally I spied her asleep on the edge of the beanbag between the rocking chair and the wall. I guess she was too tired to reach for the blanket I had left her, because if you look closely, she is wrapped in one of our living room curtains. She just pulled down the closest fabric she could find. Genius!

Super Duper!

Couldn't let these adorable cape shots sit on my computer. Rose has been calling the little guy "Super John" since he was born, but now we have proof!

F is for Family

We talked a lot about Friends and Family during F week. Rose got all excited and told me "John is my brother in my family, and he is also my best friend!" I told her she was pretty lucky. Then she told me how lucky we are to have a Forever Family. I am so grateful for these two little angels in my life, and I don't know what I would do without them.

E is for Emotions

We took about a gajillion emotions pictures, but here are a few highlights. We have called them:

Wistful

Surprised

Bashful

and Angry.

We are going to make these, along with all the rest, into a book. If you ask really nicely, we may even print one and send it to you.

Daddy's Door

Way back in D week we Decorated Daddy's Door with Dots (and other goodies). It was fun, and the kiddos were very proud. Since then, we have added to the decorations each week. For E week, Egg stickers, for F week Fish, and this week Glitter Glue! It is quite a lovely sight, let me tell you. It is constantly being updated. Anytime John finds a sticker (or anything sticky...say, a raisin) he says "Daddy's door!" and goes and adds it. It has also been helpful in drawing his creative energy away from walls, windows, furniture, etc. Everyone wins!
