A Love-ly Day!

Happy Valentine's Day from the Winston rug rats. We got all dolled up and took some pictures. Then we got in our play clothes and got dirty doing arts and crafts. (We made cards for Daddy!) We had some friends come over while their parents went on a date. It was a lot of fun.

Rub-a-dub-dub, Here comes the grub!

It's official, John is an eater. We all got a chance to help him with his first meal (rice cereal, mmmm!). Rose was especially excited about it, and kept telling us that it was her turn to feed him. Now instead of trying to feed him, she keeps trying to steal his baby food. (We have to tell her "no swiping!") Her favorite is prunes, go figure. His favorite is pears. Actually, his favorite is anything we are eating, but he is not quite ready for that. We got him a real high chair, and he loves being able to see everything that is going on from his lofty perch. He also likes to watch things drop from all the way up there. Who knew that there is so much more to eating than just food?

A Merry Little Christmas

We spent a lovely week in Illinois this Christmas. It was so great to spend time with all of our family. Rose loved chasing kids and cats around, and John loved the fact that there was always someone to hold him. They love all of their cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great grandparents, and all of the other various and sundry relatives we got to spend time with. And of course, we all got spoiled rotten. When we got home to New York, we had our own celebration and spoiled the kids even more. It was so fun to see how excited they got about everything. It truly was a very merry Christmas.
